By the grace of the almighty God, the 8th National Conference on Environment and Health, organized by the LiigivingScience Foundation and strategic Partners will be kicking off in barely eight weeks!
Theme for the Conference is: RESPONDING TO EMERGING ENVIRONMENT-HEALTH HAZARDS IN NIGERIA.
This will be introduced by two eminent keynote speakers: Dr Sunday Ojewale and Prof Nasir Sambo.
Dr Sunday Ojewale is the immediate past Secretary-General, of the West African Postgraduate College of Environmental-Health (WAPCEH). He is also a foundation Member of the Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON). Over the years, he has served as visiting lecturer at University of Ado-Ekiti, Lead City University, Ibadan, and Kwara State University Malete Ilorin. He currently serves as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, University of Ibadan.
Prof Nasir Sambo is the distinguished Executive Secretary/CEO at the National Health Insurance Scheme. Before this appointment in 2019, he was the Provost, College of Medicine, Kaduna State University. At various times, he served as member of the Accreditation Team of the West African College of Physicians and also a Visiting Scholar at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom. Apart from being a physician, he holds a Masters degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy.

Prof Olugboyega Oyeranti : Professor of Environmental Economics at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, and Dean, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan.
Prof Amos Fatokun: Professor of Pharmacology and Neuroscience, School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, Liverpool John Mores University, Liverpool, UK.
Dr Adeniyi Oginni: Executive Secretary, Osun Health Insurance Scheme, Osogbo.
Mr Babagana Mustapha: Registrar/CEO, Health Records Officers’ Registration Board of Nigeria, Abuja
Prof Rachel Obed: Professor of Radiation and Health Physics, Department of Physics, University of Ibadan, Ibadan
And last but not the least, Prof Joshua Ojo of the LivingScience Foundaton.
